"Build it up, tear it down"
"A period of expansion, and a period of consolidation"
So I'm back in Tbilisi (story on that to come shortly).
I'm on the lookout for creative projects / work to earn some cash. My intension to stay in Tbilisi for some time as Fanny has a job which is keeping her here and well, Tbilisi is a nice place.
I'm looking for website design and development projects and in addition can offer photo-retouching, and graphics / desktop publishing services. If you know anyone who might be able to make use of my services then please email me on: andy@ride-earth.org.uk
In terms of travelling, the next extended travel I make will be with Fanny, although there will be some short projects in the mean time. However, at the moment, I'm out of budget, and I've got a lot of photos, writing, audio and video to organise.
I'm also enjoying immensely being back with Fanny. We have a really nice flat with a balcony and view over the city. Whilst I'm here I'm making step by step progress with organising photos and audio and writing a book.
If you didn't already know, one of my other interests is creating art. Having been inspired by the 'take a self-portrait a day 365 Flickr Group', in the same vein I have challenged myself to create a piece of artwork everyday for a year.
This is an experimental idea, but my main goal is to create something everyday and to see where the process takes me as I'm faced with the daily creative task and a limited timescale (obviously I'm not going to spend all day on each piece, just 30 mins - 1 hour).
I'm already intrigued by how in order to stay interested, I'm having to try different styles mediums and tools, and it's exciting to see where that will take me. I'm only limited by my own imagination and gaul - by how much I can stimulate my own ideas and creativity.
This is an overlapping philosophy into life in general and also the process of daily life when cycle touring or indeed travelling in general.
Having stayed with a Couchsurfing friend 'Tak' in Delhi who attended art school, he showed me through some of his art projects. I was excited to see the amount of lateral thinking that is involved, breaking down pre-conceptions, restructuring ideas, provoking thought, and designing new ways of doing things.
To reiterate the point of this post. I'm looking for some creative projects and can offer services in web design/development, graphics and desktop publishing. I'm also open to any ideas of how I may be off service.
Please email me on : andy@ride-earth.org.uk
The money earnt will go towards funding the next section of Ride Earth and allow me to regroup and work on the vast amount of photos, audio, video and writing I've amassed from my travel in order to get it out there so people can hopefully be inspired by my experiences.
